PEOPLE

  • Our trip centers around the work of the Casa de la Esperanza (House of Hope) orphanage, whose mission is to serve children who are orphaned, abandoned, lost, or abused

  • The people of Anáhuac, as well as the children at the orphanage, include Mexican Nationals and Indigenous people (known as Tarahumara)

  • The official language of Mexico is Spanish

PLACE

  • Anáhuac is located in northern Mexico about an hour and a half west of Chihuahua City

  • The majority of our mission trip will be spent in and around the secure Casa de la Esperanza orphanage compound

  • Our lodging will be in a dormitory at Casa designed specifically for visiting groups

PURPOSE

  • Minister to the children of Casa de la Esperanza through teaching, games, and special activities

  • Minister to the community by providing food and spiritual resources

  • Help with many different work projects at the orphanage and at the community center

  • Share the love of Christ with everyone we come across
