PEOPLE

  • The SIBI Paris Fund Committee will travel to Paris to meet in person with the church leaders and congregations we support through the Paris Fund, and to see firsthand the work God is doing there.

    • The Paris Fund supports newer, growing congregations in the Paris area, including a Haitian congregation and a French/English-speaking congregation

    • Many of the members we'll meet are immigrants who now call France home

    • The official language of France is French

PLACES

  • France is the largest country in the European Union by land area, and Paris is its capital

  • France would fit inside Texas about 1.3 times, but has more than double the population of Texas

  • Our time will center on the Paris metropolitan area, with visits based around Boulogne-Billancourt

  • Our accommodations will be hotels close to the congregations we're visiting

PURPOSE

  • Build direct relationships with the leaders and congregations we support

  • Encourage these churches toward evangelism, discipleship, and unity

  • Gain firsthand understanding to guide future awards from the fund
